We have received several support requests regarding an error that occurs when logging into FMX with your IMVU avatar and when buying credits for an IMVU avatar. This is due to a bug with IMVU OpenID Authentication system and IMVU is looking to fix the issue now.
You can still buy credits by logging into FMX with your email. Also, the other virtual worlds are not affected so you can also login with your Frenzoo or Toribash avatar.
We apologize for any inconvenienced caused! We will keep you guys updated on this issue here and on our Facebook and Twitter.
UPDATE: The issue has been resolved, if you are still experiencing any problems, we advice you to log in using your email address or other virtual world avatars linked to your FMX account. If none of these work for you, please file a support ticket over at our helpdesk. Thank you for your patience!

Well im still experiencing the problems, my avatar is not liked in with my FMX account from before so i cant buy any credits at all. Hope this is fixed asap, id get back to buying more credits :]

hi marilyn i want to buy imvu credits and pay with daopay
i tried this many times but everything is ok until i come to the verification page
i click provide information button then it takes me to the previous page saying
“Please fix the following errors:
Error authenticating avatar.”

did you get the “Error Authenticating Avatar” message? If so, could you please sign into IMVU first on the same browser, and then try logging in to fmx after that?
